We actually got to restore the car. It was tracked down and I mean tracked down by our very first client. His name is Jeff and he is one very cool dude. He has a DZ Z28 we did for him too. You should read his story on his site. It is very interesting. You can check the car out on our site

I read about this before I stated my project. It was a cool story and he went above and beyond to find that car.

I agree that he is a very nice guy. I have e-mailed back and forth with him over the last couple of years, especially when I got a false start on my first project (67 Camaro rust bucket extrodinaire). He had lots of helpful tips that helped me decide to sell it and get a nicer starting project. He even moved in the middle of talking with me about it and made it a point to let me know he'd be out of contact for a couple weeks. I thought that was really cool considering he didn't know me from any other joe on the street...
