Default 70 Camaro project

Ben Hermance finished up this rendering for me a few months ago and I'm finally getting around to starting a build thread. Ben did a great job as always and nailed exactly what I was trying to achieve with this build.

This is a list of what's planned

Wegner Automotive 441CI LS7
Centerforce DYAD clutch
T56 Magnum trans
DSE 12 bolt rear with full floater, Trutrac diff, 33 spline axles
6S 14” Baer Brakes and Remaster master cylinder
DSE Quadralink
DSE subframe
C&R Radiator w/ oil and steering cooler
AutoRad radiator support

C7 Vette Laguna Blue

Carbon Kustoms carbon fiber hood, nose, front fenders, inner fender wells
Anvil Auto deck lid, rear spoiler, mirrors
Carbon Fiber front and rear bumpers
Front Spoiler/Splitter from D&Z Customs
Custom dash with Dakota Digital VHX gauges

Tires - 315/30/18 front - 335/30/18 rear
Wheels as shown Formula 43 Rad14 (but I also really like the Forgeline GA1R) GRRR I can't decide

I started out with quarters and tail panel from Classic Ind. They fit lousy I spent way too much time on those pieces of crap and then ordered some AMD parts. Much better fit, crisper lines, door gaps are very good already. Got a little work to do with the gap to the Anvil deck lid. The Anvil parts are of course very nice.

Car looks great and ditto on the crappy parts. I ended up finding NOS parts and some original parts (have more stuffed in my warehouse) because trying to get the aftermarket stuff to line up sucked.

Those last pics show a pretty good view of the adjustable body cart that my son Taylor and I built. Here's a closer view

Close up of the slider pieces.

Taylor cut these out on his water jet. He's got a water jet and fabricating business that he operates in the same building as my "toy" shop. He also does all of my welding for me because he laughs when I try :
