I built a V8 Vega at 14 (27 years ago!) and still own it! Eventually ran high 9's Its been sitting about 10 years but is going modern pro street soon, maybe an LS conversion. Its good to see them making a comeback. Nice Job!

Wow! That car brings back some memories. I had a 1970 Vega when I was 17.
Stock 4 cyl. 2sp auto, not a straight panel on it. It got impounded and turned into the neatest little metal cube in the crusher. Good times in that car!

Nice pro street job on it. Cool car!

Sorry to be "that guy" but vega's didn't come out till 1971. Anyways love the look. I had a 71 wagon 4 spd as my high school car and a 74 hatch that I did a v-8 swap on for my auto tech senior project 10 yrs ago. Love'em, looking good. Hopefully I can do one in the future.

yeah, they started production in 1970 for the 71 model (first year). Cool car, used to see a bunch of them back in my day.
