[QUOTEThinking back on the Thrasher. That was a great track car and it had a GM subframe and leaf spring rear..ahhh, simple times...

That being said, would you recomend stock GM sub modified and leaf springs, GM sub and Quadra-Link, or aftermarket sub and Quadra-Link. Charlie,Jody? Just thinking out load.

It all depends on what you want. You aren't going to get the ultra wide tire look with a stock sub. The average guy can have a ball with modified stock sub and good aftermarket leafs. Good springs and shocks go a long way.
Yes I still own the Mule.

Budget dictated the use of the stock sub on my car... same reason it's not mini-tubbed out back. But with 255s & 295s I think she looks the part (pro-touring) and will handle just fine! I know she won't hang with Mark's cars or a fully DSE equiped car... but she will be a great car to go out and have fun with everyone here...

Such a great history,I remember how nice it looked with the old school Vette wheels on it and that big block engine,it just looked right.

Congrats on the new Ink Charley!

I am a little slow and just read the article tonight. You would have thought they could have put a little effort into getting the timeline on the builds right.

I was not aware that Red Witch competed in the One Lap. I knew Thrasher did and lost a motor at Road Atlanta or somewhere.
