Default New Budnik "Lateral" named after Lateral-G?

I am taking this quote from the P-T forum, but I thought this was interesting if true. Shows the kind of impact these sites are having on the car world.

This was in context to the new "Lateral" wheel.

Quote:
yup, just seen them at Super Chevy at IRP
and finally met jon from Budnik.. ....we talked to each other quite a bit about both of the message boards (pro-touring.com and lateral-g) hence, what that wheel is named after.
Know anything bout that Scott? Would be cool either way.

Yep, I sure do! It's available in 15" to 22" diameters and custom widths. It was inspired by the g-machines of Lateral-g.

Very cool and a nice looking wheel too!! Good thing I didn't see these before I ordered the new wheels for the car...might of made the decision even harder!!

So are they a welded two piece wheel? I bet polishing the lip only is a pain for them, but it 'makes' the wheel! Do they come in a standard lip as well? I sound like I'm still looking to buy...stop it already!!

Congrats Scott. That is one good looking wheel. I wished I would have waited. Always something new around the corner, I guess that is life.
