Thanks Don it has been a roller coaster ride for sure but I am determined to finish it one day, thanks for all the great info and guidence

Well I felt the need to update this thread. I lost my father on 3/27 (his favorite chevy engine by the way), He was the man that gave me my passion for cars and I am very sorry he will never get to see this car finished. I do know however how proud he was to take his 15 year old son to go buy it and then all the time he took teaching me how to drive the three speed manual. I spent many hours and have countless memories doing car stuff with my dad and know he will be riding with me once it is done. I have since made some more progress and really hope to keep going with it in his memory.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. The impact he made on your life and memories together can never be taken from you. Very nice build.
