Default 1979 Trans am coming soon

Hello,

My name is Miguel, I come from a town called Hayward, California. Ive always liked the style of pro touring cars, but up until recently, I found out the name of the hobby. Ive been to the Good guys auto show out here in pleasanton twice and seen these muscle cars run with massive wheels and wheel arches and stick real good and low to the ground. The sound of those machines was just incredible, just roaring down the cones. In simple terms, I was amazed. I currently have a 1979 trans am that i want to start restoring and hopefully get it running like those guys that I saw, or at least close. I wanted to find out about the hobby but I was just too shy and was worried that I might have been made fun at since I had no idea of these cars. But now that I have at least some type of knoledge about pro touring, I would like to get into the hobby and want to know what do I have to do to my car to make it run and perform like the cars that I saw. Thank you.
