This reminds me of the project I did when I polished and put sharkhide on the toons on my pontoon boat. Lotta work but it looked great when done.

Then later on my friend that worked at the American Airlines overhaul base brought me a case of stuff they used to polish the planes. I haven't tried it yet but I bet it's the same stuff your friend gave you. Looks great!

Still polishing and cleaning up a few things, lots of work and my shoulders are feeling it! I put it for sale at 9k on a local forum, we'll see what happens.
