Default muffler issues

I had 3" exhaust installed on my 68 Camaro with Magnaflow mufflers. The mufflers are 4"x9" ovals and they sometimes hit the speed tech torque arm. Looking for a smaller body quality muffler. Any info would be appreciated.

Yes it is a bit challenging to install a 3” exhaust when you have a torque arm, at least I am having this issue especially with the floor type emergency parking brake.

I have speedtech set up as well with 3” exhaust and blackwidow mufflers. Not sure about the size though compared to what you have.

However, the muffler shop could add a short elbow on the 3” exhaust so the mufflers would be at angle pointing outwards, and this way they would be away from the torque arm.
