Default Have you every had that feeling (( 07-25-22 ))

So have you ever had that feeling that you didn't torque something correctly so just to be safe I rechecked everything
and good news it was correct.

It's starting to feel real as I am finally connecting the fuel line to the fuel rail.

Default ARP Transmission Bolts (( 08-07-22 ))

I know it's not needed but I have gone this far so why stop now.

Not going to lie a couple of these where a bitch to get to.

Remy had no interest in what I was doing so he decided to take a nap.

If you look really close you can see the Lokar Black Dipstick.

Driveshaft is back from the Pro Tek Powder Coating.

So don't ask me where this grommet came from as I would love to have another one.

I think it makes the wire loom exit look much cleaner.

Without.

Where do I get a dust cover for this or do I have to make something ?

Default Checking the fuel lines and building the new AC Line (( 08-13-22 ))

I am finally getting closer to starting this car so I need to start making sure all of the lines are tight.

I have to remake one of the AC lines so today was the perfect day.

Note to Self...Next time I will take the tire off.

Next time I will take the blue tape off the fitting prior to crimping.

Default Installing the Driveshaft (( 08-14-22 )) WTF !!!

So, I had a little bit of free time so I decided I would install the U-Joints and put the driveshaft in. Well, that didn't go so well
as I couldn't get the U-Joint seated. I was able to install the axle side with no issue's but the tailshaft side was a no go.

2 days later and two new U-Joints

In the end I am walking away !!!!

Default Brake Line Swap and just another small detail (( 08-21-22 ))

Putting the old brake lines back on to see if they leak and I might as well clean them up a little bit.

I have seen this done on a few cars and I like how it looks.

Default Power Probe 3 and the Driveshaft Yet Again (( 09-04-22 ))

So, I went out and bought the Power Probe 3 for the final wiring and to figure out a couple wiring issue's. I picked it up at Harbor Freight with a 25% discount & gift card when it was on sale so I paid $125. It's kind of one of those tools that I will use a few time but boy is it fun to play with.

So back to the driveshaft and good news is I get to use my Grandfathers Vice to crush this bitch.

Finally the snap ring is seated !!!

Install time for the last time I hope.

okay I lied i forgot I still need to remove some powder coating.

Might as well plug in all of the sensors.

Not using this one.

I also spent a little time cleaning up the top drawer of my wiring box.

Looking good. Sorry I couldn’t find those part numbers before you did. I got sidetracked. My-bad lol But thanks for posting them. I always thought they were metal. When I seen a post before referencing them, I just assumed just that brand was plastic.

How do you like the Master Cool A/C crimper tool. I can only imagine how high the cost went up from before Covid-19
