Mark,

It's going to be nice!. I have 1983 that I am considering going to LS. Mine was originally a 6.2 diesel that I swapped an SBC in a few years back.

Your transfer case looks like the NP208 so did you use an adapter from Novak or did it bolt up to the 4x4 4L70E version directly with no mods? I would also be curious to know what engine mounts you used. It appears you made your own spacers to get a little more lift on the pan. Looking forward to updates

It was an adaptor from Advanced Adaptors. Bolted to the 4L70E and gave a electric vehicle speed tone wheel and pickup for the ECM.

The engine mounts were Holley, but because we used a GM truck oil pain we spaced it up a 1/4 inch.

Our first intake was the LS3. It really did not look truck enough.

Rad is a 2021 with stock GM cooling fan. I should have no cooling issues. Total cost around $300.

New rad used fans. No aftermarket parts will come close to this for the price.

Some assembly required….

The engine bay is feeling like a Jonny Cash song- I built it one piece at a time. Induction is 2018 Tahoe. Intake 2010 L92 truck. Brake booster and master 2019 Tahoe. Coolant bottle 2021 Silverado. Rad and Fans 2021 Silverado. ECM 2010 Corvette. Ha! I’m kind of a GM guy..

While the parts are out getting power coated we cleaned up the engine bay vs blowing it apart to paint or powder coat. This is a 88k mile NB truck so very little rust.

Because this is going to be our Barrett Jackson tour car this year we are swapping the seats. After looking at a lot of GM seats I settled on 2018 Full Size truck seat. I wanted full manual so it would be easy. Stock flip center console. This were off Facebook marketplace for $250. I need to fully recover them any way so the Upolstry really does no mater. They fit great and are way more comfortable than the stock seat and the slide back to adult height.

Love how you integrate the later model factory pieces. Is it okay to add this one to your website?
