Default Water Neck and Intake Manifold Plumbing ( 10-31-21 )

I had time to do a couple simple projects so out to the garage I went.

I decided to mock up some of the hoses.

Thankfully the auto parts store is close

Nope, I don't like the way this hose looks.

I ordered this custom hose with all kinds of crazy bends in it.

Yep, I've made good use of those molded smaller hoses for certain vacuum lines, turn out much cleaner looking.

Default Last one for the night Upgrading to a Waterproof Relay ( 10-31-22 )

Way back somewhere in this thread I installed Painless fan relay and I screwed up and didn't order a standard fan relay. So I ordered a new Water Proof Fan Relay kit.

Since it is in between the battery and the radiator the batter once again needs to come out.

Thankfully I used a weather pack connector as I was able to just remove the ground from the plug.

Default Vacuum Hose Installed ( 11-09-21 )

My molded hose arrived

I also received another fitting for the Fuel Pressure Sensor

Looks like I need a longer hose.

Found an all in one fitting that will be replacing two of the fittings.

Default Optima Batter Charger Plug ( 11-09-21 )

Since I keep the car on the optima charger when it is parked in the garage I decided to mock up the wire and see if I could hide it when it's not in use.

I can easily tuck it in the frame rail when not in use.

Default Trunk Grounds Wires ( 11-12-22 )

Today I will be working on all of the various ground wires.

My goal is to make then looks nice and I even have some company in the garage today.

Ground wire from the block to the frame

Wires running back to the battery ( I think I have a cool idea and I hope to share it soon )

Securing the ground wire to the motor mount bolt.

I am finally connecting the wires from the relay to my gas tank.

I also purchased this bad ass headlight switch from a gentleman on Facebook. I am going to have it anodized
black so it blends in with the Covan dash insert.

I have been looking for Intake Tube idea's and I think I found one that I love.

Default Fuel Line Routing ( 11-14-21 )

Another reminder while I am here to powder coat the spring pocket and the lower arms.

The fuel lines runs right over the spring pocket and I am going to trim a little bit of it off to protect the fuel line.

I started slowly removing just a little bit.

Then I took just a little more off.

Out comes them death wheel.

A little clean up.

All better now and I am still going to run the line through DEI ExoSleeve.

On another note just wondering what single fan you're using? Is it for less fan/rad depth, less air intake tube interference?
Keep up the great work!

That looks really good.

As for the single fan set up. It was part of the Afco LS Radiator / Fan shroud set up that I purchased years ago for the first version of the car. I didnít change it because it worked so well Iím just going to leave it. Iím still trying to decide if I am going to paint the radiator, shroud and AC condenser. I might leave that for version 3.0.

Default What should have been a simple project ( 11-14-21 )

What should have been a simple pan swap turned out to be a no go.

Since the current pan on the new transmission from Atomic was a standard depth I ordered a stock depth pan
as I didn't want the pan to hang down and lower then it was. Well this one didn't works so I guess at some point
I will order another one.

Just in case anyone needs to know what size the bolt is
