Default One more 69 for Lateral G

I am going to start a build thread on a car I just started building for a friend and he will hopefully help me keep it updated.First off I want to say thanks to Jay Doerfler at Auto Body Specialist for the great deal he gave me on a huge order of Detroit Speed and Vintage Air parts for this build,His customer service is as good as his work so if anyone is looking for someone to trust with your money give him a try.Now for the car it is a completely original 57,000 mile car that is absolutely rust free(except 2 small spots around back glass under vinyl top) and has never been touched. We are building about the same car as mine except plans are for using Huntington Blue Pearl from BASF.Parts so far purchased, for this one are complete DSE subframe and quadralink and pretty much their entire catalog,Tremec TKO 600,Mosier 12 bolt,13" 6 piston and 12" 4 piston Wilwood disc brakes,Vintage Air Gen IV and Polished LS Frontrunner.Billet Specialties Le Mans wheels 18x12 and 18x9 w/Michelin PS2 335/30/18 and 245/40/18s.Gone to have some form of LS3 for power, custom leather interior.Just finally got started on ripping it apart and its unreal to see a car that the only metal to replace will be a cowl hood.First thing is installed the subframe and trying to get the minitubs and quadralink in this week then we are going to put it on a rotisserie and get it blasted and do away with the yellow paint and the factory undercoating. This car was a factory air car with perfect black standard interior,so we are selling about everything on this car except sheetmetal and chrome so if anyone needs anything send me a pm.

Nice project. Just curious as to why the 245 tire on a 9" rim? Seems like 275 or at least 265 fits the bill better, especially with the DSE subframe. I love watching these builds. Looking forward to it.

wow thats a great find! would have been tempted to clean up the engine bay and drive it.
although throwing all them detroit speed parts at it can't hurt either.
love it.
