I'll concede an Impala SS or a Caprice Classic.

Why are you making fun of my dainty little hand model fingers. You know how sensitive I am about that.

I've been trying to get some stuff done at the night job. You know all the glamorous stuff everyone who builds one of these cars suffers through.

Puling out the old 390 mock up motor on Thurs. It took me a couple hours mainly because the cherry picker won't fit under the crossmember for some reason. It's like the car sits only 5", or less, off the ground or something crazy like that. Just for the heck of it I weighed the car without the motor and trans to get an idea where I was starting. It will be cool to catalogue how the weight keeps adding up as the build progresses.

That left uncovered a bunch of extra metal that needed to be cut our tonight.

I got all of it but the top of the shock towers with a grinder but luckily I was saved by a skilled guy with a plasma cutter who finished the top of the shock towers off for me or I'd still be there.

I got some help from a couple of young eager aspiring car builders to start stripping and cleaning the interior out. Man I'm glad they were around. It had gotten a little crusty from me letting it sit.

Another couple of crappy days of cutting and cleaning and then it's on to the fun stuff.

That's a nice tunnel hump Rob, did RS make that?

I had to make my own for my TKO, Torino swap, it isn't as pretty...

Yes RS made the hump.

Joe quit holding out let's see some pictures of that Torino

Marcus

The floors up to the bead roll portion are aftermarket replacement pieces then RS formed the hump and driveshaft tunnel. Let's see some updates on your Chevelle thread.
