Default exhaust

i had 40series flows on my camaro for years, got tired of the interior drone, so i bought 40series delta flows, was told they would help out tremendously by flowmaster themselves. put them on and it sounds the exact same inside! called them and they said i have too much motor (413 sbc). i have 2.5 exhaust w/dr.gas xpipe ran out the back. any suggestions on amuffler system that will give me good exterior sound w/minimal interior resonance? thanks

I went with Spintech. They sound good so far, although admittedly I haven't been able to cruise with them yet. Check them out.

I second the 50 series... my 40 deltas were painfully loud which was fun at first, but not for driving down the street or coming home at 2am.

I was not popular witht he neighbors

I am running super 40's and my car and it is the same way. I plan on switching to Delta 50's or Hooker Aerochambers.

I had dual spintech race mufflers on my 408sb mopar it was about as far from quiet as you can get. Hooker aerochambers are great, don't drone at all, relatively tame at idle, but still sound wicked when you get up on it.

I'm a fan of the Hooker Aerochambers too. Kind of a deep tone, not the rattly flowmaster type of sounds.
