Turn your 4L60E or 4L80E electronic transmission into a trick Manu-Matic with The ShRiFter! 100% CNC machined from aluminum, The ShRiFter consists of a hub/paddle assembly and electronics that plugs directly into a TCI T-Com transmission controller. We�ve been working on this concept for two years. It started out with two steering wheel mounted trans-brake buttons and coil -cords wrapped around the steering column. The buttons/cords worked, but looked like hell and lacked ergonomics. We eliminated the coil-cords with completely hidden electronics. With the ugly wiring eliminated, we designed and built a F1 style paddle shifter.The ShRiFter has paddles that cover the 9-3 and 10-2 hand position for maximum control.

The ShRiFter is fully electronic. There are no hydraulic rams to jam or air cylinders to fail. Unlike a mechanical shifter, there is no danger of paddle shifting your way into park, reverse, or neutral at speed. Only your forward gears are controlled. Furthermore, T-Coms software prevents accidental downshifts and even puts your transmission in 1st gear at every full stop. Shift points and line pressure are programmable for every gear across the rpm range. And of course�when you are stuck in traffic�just switch to automatic mode. Cool!
