Got a call from Best of Show. The estimater called them and said he was instructed to "get the car fixed" and that they agree to the labor rate.
I will get an initial check for $21,000 and then BOS will turn in a suplemental at the end for the remaining actual charges. Since we are super honest on labor time there really shouldn't be an issue.
I had sent the adjuster a link to my images on fquick.com and she said "hmm, this car is pretty nice". She ended up putting the value of my car at $100,000 in thier system.
I win and
Penny V1.2 will live again!
I should note that the people I dealt with at State Farm were some of the friendliest there could be. They never copped an attitude and they actually seemed empathetic. Maybe it was my charm, maybe my insurance story.. whatever.. lol
In honor of this occasion I give you a teaser shot that Mike Harrington shot of
Penny. I helped a bit in this one by coming up with the welder idea and by triggering my flashes in the interior. Thanks to everyone for thier support and once work starts I will put a thread in the PROJECTS area. Look for the August Super Chevy
