Default Roadster Shop SPEC series debut

We are pleased to announce the debut of the all new SPEC series chassis from Roadster Shop.

With the Goodguys Columbus show this weekend, we are debuting the first two chassis in a lineup that will cover Chevelle, Camaro, C10, Tri-five and Impala. If you are at the show, make sure you stop by the booth and take a look at the Camaro and C10 SPEC series chassis on display.

"All well and good" you may be saying at this point. "It's a Roadster Shop chassis so it must be expensive, right??"
Here's the best part: all SPEC chassis start at $9895

So what is SPEC? Simply put, SPEC is the most advanced, highest quality chassis and suspension system available for a low budget.

The Benefits:
  • No kinks, bends or stressed areas that are prone to flex like mandrel bent tubing
  • Ability to contour to stock floors for no floor modifications on most applications
  • Stronger, lighter, and more precise.
  • CNC located factory mounts built into the frame for easy, vehicle specific installation
  • Frame rail designs to accommodate mini-tubs and up to 12” wide wheels

SPEC Series Chassis Standard Features:
  • RS exclusive “Laser Rails” precision CNC laser cut and contoured
  • Vehicle specific body mounts, bumper mounts, and other factory mounting locations
  • Crossmembers and chassis bracing to contour to factory floors allowing 3” exhaust
  • LS Engine mounts
  • Adjustable transmission mount accommodating all popular transmissions
  • Power rack and pinion steering
  • Easy to adjust upper a-arm eccentric mounts for fast and accurate alignments
  • Performance billet coilovers or air bag suspension
  • Wilwood dropped “Pro-Spindles”
  • Ford 9” housing with 31 spline axles
  • Frame rail designs to accommodate mini-tubs and up to 12” wide wheels

We will be posting more updates as we fulfill the full lineup after the initial debut so stay tuned!

Wow! This is a game changer for sure. Compared to just buying the front subframe from most vendors this is a great deal.

"All stock mounting points are utilized for a truly bolt-on application with ZERO floor modifications or need to remove the existing rear rails."

AWESOME!

Dude, this is the RS we're talking about here. The can build a frame for the 2020 Camaro or the 2025 Mustang. Neither of which are even out yet. But, that's just how bad a$$ they are.

Very cool.

With the first gen camaro, how wide of a front tire can you fit? If we go with LS mounts, which off the shelf headers work?
