Thanks Wayne! The clear is hardened up now so I'll start another polishing round to finish it up. Here's what we finished last weekend. We got the two post up at our house so we tried our hand at the exhaust game. It's really tough, but we finished it up. It's headed to the ceramic coating shop this week. We used 4 mandrels, a Summit X pipe, Flowmaster mandrel tailpipes, and Borla XR-1s with 16 inch cases. I think i's gonna sound really crisp so now I'm on the hunt for the EFI. I also posted a pic of the plumbing I'm using. It's Aeromotive line without stainless braid. It's amazing and super easy to use. I'm hooked.

Off to the shop at home.

Awesome job dave. Chevelle is looking incredible. Looks like early summer cruzin is on the horizon... :gitrdun:

NOPANTS68 02-27-2014 01:14 PM

Thanks everyone! Yeah summer cruising is right around the corner for us. The interior is gonna be a huge bill so the savings game is on. I gotta get the EFI dialed in and get this thing fired. looks like I also need a steel gear for the dizzy before we make sounds.

Thanks Bret! It's like 8 doors down from your house right now at dad's shop lol . Come over!

Looks great! Really like the colors you've chosen on everything. I do have a suggestion though. Change the routing on the vacuum line for the booster. You can bend a hard line that drops off the manifold and bends around the valve cover in order to get over to the booster. I think that would help show off the valve cover better.

Here's what I did on my car for reference.

Is there room to get a sway bar mounted in there?

Sweet setup!
