Awsome sheetmetal work on the inner fenders. Overall I realy dig this truck.

The only thing I have seen so far that looks wrong/odd/out of place is the hood hinges. To me they look like an after thought mounted so far from the fenders on that smooth firewall. I know that Porterbuilt is a "competing" shop in the industry, but their hood hinges would have been a cleaner looking solution for this truck. Again, not trying to take anything away from this awsome build, it just does not look right IMHO...

Glad you like most of it. We have used the porterbuilt hinges before. They are alright but when it was time to do the hood hinges we decided on a set of 55-56 chevy car hinges as they are smaller than the C10 hinges but still allow good functional movement for the hood without interrupting or cutting into the firewall. the firewall mount that you see in these pictures is not 100% finished and will get some more style before it's all said and done. We are happy with the way they turned out and if you get to see it in person we think that you will agree. If you don't then that's OK too. That's what makes every build unique. :goodguys: :lateral:

Looks great, Brycen. Very clean and smooth engine bay. Good job!

Thanks guys, I don't get all of the credit though. My friend Kody has his hand in it as well as some design ideas from Justin. And I'm blessed to work in a shop with the tools and the means to build this truck.

Here's a few updates:

Frame made its way back from powder coat last week. We got the exhaust finished and had it coated at Jet-Hot. Turned out great and the coating really makes the clamps stand out. We got the motor and drive shaft installed and pretty much anything else that we could before sticking the cab on it.
Palmers Custom's finished up the cab in record time and it turned out bitchin. It's hard to get a true picture of the color, but the blue on this cab is awesome.
Here's a few pics..
