That way you really get to see the what the kolor is going to look like on a car. If you ever tried to pick a kolor from a chip book you'll know what I mean |
Not dead set on stripes, but if I do stripe I will go black.
No flames from me on the yota colors, I like the maroon/red metallic they have on he camry's alot. I am looking at coy's wheels the c-57 polished in 17's, but currently have old school 15 AR Daisies with the rough center and machined lip. I fully agree on paint chips and looking at colors online/magines... gotta see it on a car. I am currently waiting on a order from TCP for some HoK metallic 4oz bottles, I plan to shoot some old panels and hope to get a feel for their looks. |
Sounds like you are doing everything right...gotta get it on the old panels or see it on a new car! I have a friend that had a Chevelle painted what GM called blue, he didn't do enough research and ended up with a purple car! :wow:

Be sure to let us know what color you end up with. Post a pic of your final selection if you can. |
I like the red/maroon color as well.
I'm not a big fan of stripes, but I think with the "right" color maroon, it would look KILLER!!!! Good luck man!!!  |
If you like Red, maybe do something different with the stripes. Ghost stripes look cool and you'd stand out from the crowd at the car shows.
Candy colors are cool, but when you get chips, they aren't as easy to touch up. If you do it, make sure you put some of the clear 3m plastic stuff on the parts that are prone to chipping. |
