i am almost positive the fuel filter in in one of the fuel tanks and is not servicable.

I think so too. So my "briljant" idea was to use the vette regulator / filter combo at the first place. But if Z06 vette dont have one , it makes me wonder does the non-z06 version flow enough ?

About the regulator/filter. You could always use the 1999 Corvette part. Look at LS1tech.com. You'll get all your answers there.
