It was trick and has some great features, but what I wasn't a big fan of was the digital number displays. You needed to read the numbers and digest the data instead of simply glancing at a needle. I know that sounds odd and a lame excuse, but after years of just being able to glance at a needle and knowing whether things are ok or not, it was an adjustment. That being said, some inputs on the Racepak can be configured to display as an analog (like the tach, speedo), the Racepak looks especially bad ass at night, it's programmable, and it's something that's outside the box.

I think I'm going to go with the regular ole gauge package.

I'm leaning towards the Anvil or Covan Thunder Road dash's. Both are around $250 or so.

I can't believe DSE charges $575 for their aluminum dash.:_paranoid

Not to split hairs, but the DSE dash is made of 18 guage steel, and you really cant compare it to covans. I have a covans in my 67, its plastic ka ka, fit was horrible and when the guages went in and tightened up, the plastic started to twist a bit causing the guages to kind of point outward.

I recently picked up a DSE dash for my new 69 build its a quality piece, that becomes kind of a structural part of the whole dash assembly. Looked like theres a fair amount of tig welding that goes into the fab of that part, it certainly has a lot of bends in it.
