Fast Open Track Car - #99 1965 Mustang with 10" wide 5 spoke wheels and a 331 cubic inch small block. The car has been a race car for more than 25 years. It will easily turn 1:42 at Laguna Seca and 1:50 at Infineon. Run with the big boys. The car has been sitting for a few years and will need some freshening up, but it's all there. I would be willing to help the buyer get it back into shape in exchange for a few laps around the track once in awhile. I would like to get $8K and will entertain offers.

There is a builder/racer here in NoCal who has great success with Mustangs. Runs REALLY fast, and actually had one of the fastest lap times at the Optima Challenge 2 years ago with a leaf spring car...Precision Machine in Lodi.

I'll be the first to admit I'm no Mustang expert:P Although a 70 and later AMC front suspension is nearly the same as the early Mustangs.
I was thinking about this thread on the way home from work and I think it actually made the decision on what I might do next worse:rofl:

Seriously though, great information from all you guys, thanks.
