my understanding is that the inconel is used in blower application on the exh side due to it ability to handle increased heat. Pretty common actually. please keep in mind that I'm no engine builder. I'll ask the guys at motor city speed. when it was explained to me by billy he mentioned several motors that he built that were similar to mine when he was building motors for wheel to wheel. also apparently the formula 1 cars use them bc their ability to handle extreme temps.

I am using inconnel exh as well on my blower motor...

Does all the factory LS7 blocks have the provisions to install those squirters? Or is special machining required?

Special machining is required. It wasnt a big deal for mine. Tap threaded hole into oil passage and also provision for locating pin.

i never drove a ls7 but had a few ls6 cars and they were really nice engines.im jellous cause my new camaro build is just a small block to start off.money issues was the culprit on that one.your engine is gonna be sweet.:cheers:
