Yep -- somewhere between 12 and 15K would be tops. I just sold a Calif black plate POP '69 drop top with 53K original miles for 18.5K
If the top goes down the price goes up. Pull the carpets back and look for rust in the floors... and the TRUNK.... and bottoms of fenders etc. Look for signs of water intrusion at the "cowl/windshield" area and ditto that at the rear - window/package tray. |

You'd see tell tale evidence if there is a problem. Those areas are just known problem areas and you should just look the car over real well. Just use your eyes and look past the pretty paint for anything that looks weird.

Drivers side front floor somewhat typical for old cars used in a wet climate and no rubber floor mats:
