Default What would you pay for this 69 Camaro?

Hey guys I'm thinking of making a offer on this 69 Camaro.

What I know about it.

*3 owner CA car
*Black and yellow plates
*Painted 10 yrs ago, driver quality, 1 door ding (dime size) 1 scratch in same door
*Vinyl top done same time as the paint.
*Buckets & console, interior super clean no rips or tears, faded carpet.
*307ci/350th
*4 wheel drum
*Cold AC

It seems to be a real nice driver quality car, the rear window area under the vinyl seems to be solid I do not feel any bumps or holes under the top.

So my question is what do you thinks its worth?

My plan if I purchase it.

*Replace the carpet
*Cowl hood (painted to match)
*Front spoiler
*Detail & drive it!

Thanks

Never wrecked or rusty I would say up to 15K. I like black plate cars.

Charlie it seems to be super solid i don't see any signs of Previous wrecks or any signs of rust & I love the black plate cars also. I always wondered how you and Mark find these blk Plate cars.

The owner is asking 18k and I was thinking 15k I will see how it goes on Friday.

I was guessing $15k as well..

Friend just bought a driver 68 RS 327.. has some rust (vinyl top type) and he was happy to pay $12k..

Just be aware that, unless the seller has the registration history to show that those black plates belong to that car, they don't mean much.

Ever wonder why black CA license plates sell so well on EBay?

Not trying to be a downer here but you really need to be extra careful. Especially so if the car is not in California and has somehow escaped our grasp....

I think I paid 14K or 14.5K for Jackass. It was orig paint clean car but wore out. I just donated the orig 327 to a guy today. I think we got Stielows Red Devil for the same price. You are just money ahead when you start with a car like this and alot less headaches. The black plates are selling so well on Ebay because DMV is letting them be put back on cars but you have to pay a yearly fee just like a personalized plate.
