If I didn't already have an engine I'd be all over this. Have a look at my build and you can see what $10K gets you here. To be honest the price is so low I am reading the build list and wondering what the catch is. This may be one of those cases where you are too cheap and people just don't believe it.
IMHO, I would pull this ad and list it local at double the price. If I lived closer I would be grabbing it to resell and make a quick buck. |
I didn't think I was too cheap, but if you like I'll double the price and meet you halfway for delivery!
I know you can't even buy the parts to build one of these for my price, but I've decided I"m never going to use it again I want to clear some space in my garage. Hell, the carb alone is worth $400! The motor has been sitting for a long time, you can bolt it in and go, but to be honest, I would go through it and freshen it up. For just another couple Hundred you can have a fresh 450Hp Small block. The specs on the cam are here: 262-400 C.I. V Valve Setting: Intake - .000 Exhaust - .000 Hot/Cold - HOT Lift: Intake @Cam 303 @Valve 455 All Lifts are based on zero lash and theoretical rocker arm ratios. Oh, I forgot to mention that the Headers will fit an AME or Scott Mock Frame with C5 suspension! I'll part them if anyone is interested. Check out the early pages of my build thread and you'll see the motor sitting in my chassis.

Still have this motor! Please someone come take it out of my garage and leave me some cash. Bumping back up with a pic. I'll even throw in the radiator and headers.
