NO NO NO. Do NOT use BMW wheels on your muscle car. It is NOT close enough. It will put major pressure on your wheel studs. Do NOT do this.
If you dont believe me call any reputable wheel company and ask to talk to an engineer, not the 25 year old sales person but an actual wheel engineer and they will tell you do not do this. |
Pete I just want to use them for rollers to go to paint and still have my 13.5" front brakes working. I don't want to expose my billet wheels to all the dust and crap.
I was thinking about using the Eastwood Elastiwrap and then peel it off when I'm done. Any opinions on this ?? |
I am using set of 18" 2010 camaro steel wheels, picked them up with tires for 125 off craigslist. The pattern is the same as bmw 5x120. Just like what was said before, we're only dealing with .025" I wouldn't even think twice about it for temporary rollers.
