On my strut car with an iron block and heads, a 300# C/O has a wheel rate of 270#. This wheel rate more than exceeds the wheel rate of conventional springs in the 1000# range. I think a wheel rate calculation is more relevant than static spring rate.
So what are the wheel rates we are discussing? |
I am gonna swap out my coil overs for a set of ride tech to match my 4 Link. I was taking some measurements that Ryan asked for at ride height and was wondering if my lower control angle is ok? The bottom of the control arm is not level to the ground.

I definitely understand, the exchange rate definitely doesn't help. Just let me know if I can help you in the future with anything. *edit, I just now saw your post saying that you were measuring up for our coilovers. Did you get everything figured out on that? My direct line is 812-481-4734 if you need help. |

I picked up a set of 550lbs 10" long coils from QA1. Installing them in the next few weeks. Keep you posted on how it works out. Thanks to everyone for their help.
