I found that the extra barrier helped fill in the carpet better.
To punch around bolt holes......take a piece of thin diameter pipe 3/4"-1", grind a bevel around the tubing then hammer at areas that you need to fasten stuff to, makes a nice clean open area.

that looks great! will probably do the same. did you use the spray adhesive to install it?

No I just used some thin 2 way tape to hold it in place. Didn't want to fight with it if I ever have to remove it.

Paul, is it hard to put it inside the doors? I was under the impression this stuff sticks and there is no chance to peel or move it when it does.

No it was not to difficult to get it inside the doors. it is sticky but you can adjust it if needed. I would only peel half the paper backing off until I got it placed where I wanted then would pull the rest once it was set. Once you roll it down I would not want to try to move it but I am really glad I did the doors they close so much nicer.
