most do but are limited. I doubt it could handle his power level. On my twin turbo GTO it easily overran the limits of the traction control. Jody |

My next big purchase will have to be wheels...
As far as traction control, I should try to mess around with the stock stuff, I will post if I have any luck. |

give it a shot, but little chance it's going to work with that much power. The Racelogic system will work, and is going on my Chevelle. Jody |

I have not messed with it at all ever, so I will have to see what the limitations are. If I could get it to work even a little in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear that would help quite a bit.;)

Just looked at my software, I will be very limited with my setup for traction control with a cable throttle body, I think. Apparently it retards timing up to 50 degrees depending ont eh severity of wheel spin, very adjsutable but I am not sure the effects of retarding timing that much on my motor, does not sound like a real good thing to do, but I will have to try.
However, I swap to TBW, you can modulate throttle blade position based on the amount of wheel spin. That should work as good as any system on the market. You can control throttle position based on max torque desired for EVERY gear. Now I have something new to play with!! |
My best 60 ft time on street radials (BFG Radial T/As 235/60/15 on my stock 15x7 wheels) with my 85 Mustang coupe and 320 hp was a 2.00 flat. I was very happy with that and that was with all the original suspension!
