added bracing to front sub-frame mounts - not quite as fancy as DSE did on Gawlick's car, but the same idea.

Mocking up the rear - - dreaming a bit....

Front fenders dipped, cleaned up and mocked up - they need some patches in the upper cowl area, but are otherwise really nice fenders.

Started with this ****ty patch job - they just brazed the outer to the brace and bondo'ed over it all... Below are the steps I took to repair it... I have about..... 6hrs or so in each fender patch.. if not a little more.

Cut up another fender that was solid in this area...

Tig welded it in - hammer and dolly and grind somewhat smooth.

block and sand across with some 80grit and hammer and dolly some more - - then I tried out my new toy (shrinking disk) - - hammer and dolly, shrink, hammer and dolly and shrink - until it's where I wanted it. I did the same thing on the other fender.

It's not perfect, but it's one of the better patches I've done to date - just keep practicing and trying to get better.

more cage bars -- I decided to add x-bars that tie into the upper DSE link mount.

I also ordered a bunch more parts.

- Racepak IQ3S
- Holley HP EFI
- Holley accessory drive kit
- Vintage Air Gen IV with 3-knob controller - not running AC right now, but want to be prepared in case I do later.
- Factory reproduction radio delete pannel
- DSE Wiper kit
- Sparco 6 pt harnesses
- Braille battery mount
- remote battery mount kit - well, I bought it all from Waytek
- C6 Z06 Brakes (used from a buddy)

I'm trying to figure out what to do on wheels, but have a few options that I'm toying with.

Thanks guys----I'm really getting anxious to get this thing on the road, but life has been busy. I try not to stress out about it and just be thankful that I'm able to even build the car.....no matter how long it takes!

I understand slow. I am not a body man, and trying a quarter is stretching me.

But like you said, life gets in the way with kids and everything. I just keep telling myself, one day, one day, I will get this finished.

Keep going, you do awesome work. You actually make me want to work on mine.
