Kidding!

Nice to see something "different" on the site (AKA not 1st gen haha) and great attention to detail.

Hey was just busting your balls in Rons thread, thanks for posting. I'm sending this to my buddy right now who is also knees deep in a 4th gen build.

How are you going to address cooling in this thing and how would that motor run with lesser heads and say a Fast LSXR 102 intake??

Nothin wrong with a ball busting now and then

Running these cubes with smaller heads and a Fast in my opinion doesn't make too much sense as they would both choke the potential and purpose of the larger displacement. I decided that if went this big, it would be an optimized combo top to bottom. I can't remember what Steve Rupp's Bad Penny put down, but would be a good example of the configuration you're referring to.

As far as cooling goes, Meziere pump (obviously) and BeCool radiator (polished of course ;) ). Still thinking about another fan(s)....

Thanks for replying. You going to run a shroud or just mount the fans to the rad?

I think Rupp made 720 on the engine dyno. That is pretty damn good IMO.

Just mounting fans to the rad. Stock fans mount right up.

If we're only talking about power numbers, yes, generally speaking 720 is a great number for a 427 and conservative number for a 460. Combo wise if better heads and an intake made 820 then......does having a "460" become more of a conversation piece? Just sayin...:D

Great thread Brent. Thanks for posting. ?(Although, I had read most of it on ls1tech months back.) That is a killer build. Keep us posted on it.
Seeing posts like this make me want to build the heck out of my super clean, super low mileage 4th gen! Oh, and yes. That car is going to be "silly"!

Awesome build. Thats going to be one wild ride..!

I've checked out your threads on ls1tech before. Hopefully I run into you in person and get to check it out once it's done. I'm on the west side of MI, but I try and get to most of the bigger events that are semi local.

Fikse owes you a commission. After seeing your wheels on ls1tech I placed my order. 12 weeks ago now and still waiting... But it should be worth it.
