Bill, I think that looks pretty damn sharp that way!

Would you mind providing the width of that intercooler?

thanks

Bill, thanks, I looked into that IC as well. Have you had it on a Dyno yet? We need more pics and info on your car...it looks like it would haul ass!! What SC is that P1SC? And how much boost?

Jonny, that would be great, thanks!! Does this mean the car is out of paint and being assembled?

If you are on a budget you could just take it to a radiator shop and have them paint it with that water thin black paint they use. I would not powder coat it.

The last chassis dyno was done with small tube (1 5/8") headers and only a 2 1/2" exhaust sys, it also had a valve floot problem at 6200 rpm, thats all fixed now. At 14.6# boost it made 712rwhp with the old Edelbrock EFI sys.
It's currenly a FAST XFI with 72# injectors, the Procharger is the F1.

There are more details in this CHP story

Drag racing has become my new passion, it's still a street car, but less of a G-car everyday. Traction has been a big problem, this vid will show that. At the end you will see it wheel hop and tear up the rear gear and suspension.

Be careful. The advice I have gotten from the folks at Ron Davis is that anodizing is not an option due to the cooling fins being too thin. They have seen several radiators ruined this way.

Epoxy primer with a top coat of paint is probably your best bet.

I like the black "option" better than the aluminum color behind the grille. Matches everything else. Please let us know how that works Jonny.

yeah anthony, everything was tigged and grinded down. The transition was hand formed with two 3.5" tubes cut in half and seamed down the midldle. no rolled ends, did'nt think it was necessary with the boost pressure and it's tight as hell on the pressure side. If it blows I'll weld a bead around the end.

All good info guys, thanks!!

It's 27" wide at the tanks, plus about an inch, each side for the hose connections. ---Bill.
