Hi Jeff,

LOL - yep kinda.

The plan is to debut the car this year as a driver and then over the winter tear it down again and step the build up to the next level.

Then of course there is the 72 Baracuda project that I plan to go all out on. Full custom chassis, raised floors something similar to what Tim Bruning did with the e-ticket challlenger. Just not twin turbo.

Gotta a Quick Question.

Since your building these from scratch are you narrowing the middle section to increase tire clearance allow for a better offset wheel ?

The std. unit's will already allow a 18x11 wheel w/315 tire. I am working on a narrow unit that will allow a 18x12 wheel w/335 tire W/O any fender widening. The narrow unit requires alot of header work and steering shaft fitment to work with the narrow frame rails.Call me if you have more Questions.

I assume this is on a 69 Camaro. Have you tested the fitment on a 67 with 315?

I would think an 18x11 would work on a 67 camaro.Would need check fiment once installed.I did a 1968 camaro for myself a few years back.It had 18x11's w/315 PS2' rolled the fender lip some.

Great looking frame, couple questions ..with those holes in it, will u get water and moisture in frame rails??also is this new frame the same price point as the art morrison frame???only reason I ask is cause I thought was more budget friendly??

If a person choose's to have the dimpled holes added you could get moisture inside. We had Kevin's powder coated w/a primer first then powdercoated satin black over the primer.I don't know about AME pricing. Our frame's Pricing include's a heat treated chromoly Splined sway bar,Ajustable upper coil over shock mount(For ride height adjustments),And made in America RideTech Coil over shock's and truck freight shipping.I believe we have proved that the VRP sub frame work's as well or Better as the top after market sub frame's.I still offer the 1st. design sub frame W/O any shocks,C-6 componet's,& Rack at a very budget friendly pricing.1st design bare stage 1 sub is $3450.00,pick up some used c-6 on ebay $350.00,used rack $50.00,China made coil overs $350.00-$400.00 now you are into a complete sub frame for about $ 4200.00 Thats pretty budget friendly. Thank you Scott.

Bmf5150 08-11-2013 12:06 PM

Scott,I think your product is fantastic and you have real racing data to bsck it up..I hope I didn't come across in a bad way, I was just surprised it was priced about the same as the art morrison setup..so you can get the new setup with the holes??

Bmf5150 08-11-2013 12:17 PM

I meant without the holes?

The hole are now an N/C option.I will do or not.My sub frame's come w/a heat treated chromoly splined sway bar.I believe that's an extra cost W/AME.I can also offer a budget minded customer a 2nd design frame W/cut & welded main frame rail's instead of mandrel bent tubing for $600.00Less.

:thankyou: , & I look forward to speaking with.

coolwelder62 08-22-2013 12:56 PM

FYI,GM has started adding a $50.00 core charge to each new Lower C-6 control arm.So that going add a $100.00 to the cost of a complete sub frame package.I will not rise my pricing until Oct.15th. 2013.Giving those of you wanting a sub frame a little more time to save. And I will lower the cost of complete sub frame's by $500.00 unitl Oct.15th.Also.Making the cost of the first design frame's $5350.00,New design $6350.00.My powder coater shut down and I haven't found another yet.So no powder coating for a while.Thank's Scott. :thankyou:
