Scratch the LS3 I went with a MTI 427. Here is a pic of the engine. Everything is powdercoated black on it. I have sheetmetal valvecovers to go on it also that are black.

Project Update
 

Well "My 401k" project is in the interior shop, so I got some time to work on this project. Got the interior, cage painted all except the dash. Need to cut some holes for AC vents, so didnt paint it yet due to waiting on them to be delivered. Also, I plan on painting the tailpanel satin black as well. Car has been wetsanded and compounded but not polished yet. I am happy with how it turned out. I finally added my sheetmetal valve covers also! :woot:

Cant wait to get the wheels on it now that its finally painted!

Those Tach's look great, Boze makes a killer wheel. Zak's a great guy to work with he's been alot of help for me . Lookin good keep the pictures comming!!!

Thanks everyone. Yea its a lot of fun but its definitely a headache at times... I will send some pics as soon as I get the wheels back on it.

I am going to wait and see once I bolt the wheels on, but I may actually go with some different ones and sell these if anyone is interested...
