Nice rendering, that'll work.

Over here you actually end up with TWO roofs --- one that is insulated and then a COLD ROOF above that. They need to keep the snow etc ON the roof so it needs to have ambient air temps circulating under it so the snow doesn't melt (then it would turn to ice - cause ice dams at the leading edge and crawl up under the shingles) === so that's a giant venting system along the ridge.

Over here -- your gutters and downspouts are HEATED.

Thanks Jody... this is complete design number 2 -- we trashed the other version the day it went for permit. We like this one WAY better and it's smaller (by 2,000 feet) and only has three bedrooms. Charley said he was never coming over so I had his room burnt.

You may want to add this into your life.

There's about 1400 MILES of mountain bike trails here... Every conceivable kind of riding you'd ever want - including SNOW TIRED bikes people ride on the trails in winter... There's far less Road Bike trails here. This is a MAJOR bike community... Bike shops are 1 per 20 residents.... LOL Seriously I'm not far off... maybe it's more like 1 store per 200 residents as there's at least 10 bike shops here....

You see car loads of people with bikes stuck on them every way you can mount one (or several). They come to the area specifically to ride... whether it's a road bike up and over Galena Pass -- or the 7 zillion trails from beginner to Pro level.

Front door.... non view side.... Guests can each enter their suites thru their own doors and patios.... as we can our bedroom as well... and a man door into the garage.

There are 5 garage spaces --- three "normal" oversized spaces on the non view side for daily driven cars -- and the two spaces with a huge additional space on the view side of the house for hot rods.
