that frame looks amazing!!! you said frame works did it where are they located and roughly what did it run for them to brace your frame like that? im currentley building a 66 chevelle as well and am interisted in doing this.

Thanks :) Frameworks are located here in Norway... It costs about 4000$

Todays update :-)
 
After I got the frame back we had to blast it once more to get it ready for the epoxy coating. This was done the other day, and today we applied the first layer of epoxy.

A friend of mine are in the offshore business and does paintjobs on large tankers and freightvessels. He knows a few things about epoxy and polyurethan coatings. He got me some of the stuff he uses, and it's certified for use 9000 feet below the surface...

We will apply apx 4-5 layers and then cover it with a black polyurethane coating.

WOW... almost a shame to cover that oxide red epoxy... just gives it a real buisness only look... love the frame btw, (and nothing beats that kind of dicsount on paint btw.. :-) )

and whats that in the background.. a manta?

Suspension update...
 
The Global West stuff and the QA1 coilovers arrived the other day, early x-mas in Norway :)

I did not know that the difference between the a-arms from different manufacturers were so big...

I compared the Global West a-arms with the Air Ride ones, and DAMN....

The Global West a-arms are much more solid than the Air Ride a-arms, and the lower a-arms are twice as thick as Air Rides a-arms...
