Tuning in to see more. I am with JIm, I bounce between here and the truck site too.
This site is making me want to do a car of some type, just not sure what to build since I have too many that I like. I really want a 67-72 C10 to complete my "set" of the C10 body styles. |
few more for today..

It will run along the inner fender wells as well as the core support cover. |
Most people want to win the lottery not me I just want to win this truck.
ps - Great work guys and Brycen it was good talking to you at Sema. What size shirt are you so I can get you one. |
Here you can see where the kick panel is moved forward 5 inches. This really makes a difference with leg room.

Chassis was finished up this week. Finally got around to setting it on.
The Goodguys trailer mandated that the overall height on the truck be no taller than 57". Right now we are sitting at 57.5" Once we chop the truck it will put us right where it needs to be. Here it is sitting on a set of mock up rims. Enjoy the pics. http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps66564a10.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...psedf7cb1e.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...psff6a723f.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps7fa579ad.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps0dfa4997.jpg |
Awesome build...look forward to seeing more of the great work from your very talented team there.

Motor went in today. Although this wheel and tire combo is about an inch shorter than what will be used, this still gives us an idea of how close to the final ride height we are. Right now, 57" to the roof.
We're going to be trimming and redoing the rockers and bed lowers for ground clearance. It'll look great when it's done. http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps285ec25d.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...pse9a7070a.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...psae2dc394.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...pse2885d11.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...psc66d98b4.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...pse1403beb.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps20933e22.jpg http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps0c1d7e8b.jpg |

It's looking really good guys. One question, have you checked the turning radius with the foot area extended? My guess is you have really limited yourself unless you moved the cab on the chassis or moved the spindles forward on your chassis. I would really like to know if this works since I'm taller than average! :D
Again, looks awesome! |
