Hahaha I would SO buy that!! I love yalls accents.

Have you tried those electric windows yet? I know it not wired yet. Come to think of it you probably don't have glass yet either...
Let me know how you like em. Leaning over to crank the passenger window in my 67 is starting to suck...

Oh and I really like the matte tailpanel!

aussiebj 11-28-2010 10:58 PM

the power window setup is from a company called Autoloc and they work great...the glass in the doors is scrached and was good for mock up ..they operate smooth and very easy to install...

1-20-11 Update.....How is it that some people stay in business ?? why do they make promises they cant complete...the stang has been at the interior shop for 1 month now and has not even been touched..when i asked him why he said he has taken some measurements but it trying to get the new shop area ready..why would i take my car there if I would have know he was not ready for it like he told me he was........I just think at this point I have to take it somewhere else...Sorry for bitching but its so frustrating I had to vent...

My Dad had a similar experience trying to get the headliner done in the '60 Beetle. The guy kept putting it off and I even remember stopping by one day and peering in the window of his shop and seeing the car collecting dust in the back corner. He did awesome work but lost Dad a few months of the driving season (we live in southern Maine).

Ok i installed the old grill but i did not like the look so i decided to put in a fabricated grill i hand made from diamond mesh ..I think it fits the look of the car....
Old grill
http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...oldgrillin.jpg
So i made a templete of the old grill
http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...lltemplete.jpg
And transfered it on to the flat mesh ..
http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...gmeshgrill.jpg
Bent it up and walla here is the finished Grill...

Well i go to start the car today after running the wires ..push button start and all ..and she cranks over but nothing else.. so i spend 2 hours trouble shooting the wires and swapping in three different coils..so i check the wires at my nice and expensive MSD Pro Billet Dizzy, oh and wouldn`t you know it that on a quality piece like an MSD the ground wire is broken in the connector.. no problem ill hard wire it ..ok still no spark ,so i take the cap off and the base plate to get to the inner electric reluctor (i think thats what its called) ..and there is no power in the wires ..so i removed the dizzy and i will disassemble it tomorrow to see what is wrong with the internal wiring..you know you try and buy quality pieces and it still dont work out..oh and i bought it 2 years ago so I guess theres no warranty left.. I was so looking forward to firing this baby up with open headders today.
Anyone else had a problem with an MSD dizzy???????

aussiebj 10-20-2011 10:05 AM

Making good progress now ..the remote door opener works from the key fob remote..That is cool...tail lights work ..the indicators well lets just say the LED`s are bright and the sequential indicator function on the indicators is Kewl as well...Headlight switch is in and works. Engine bay wired up and starts with the push of a button...now i just have to clean it all up.....SOON
