I can hear the wheat growing..... LOL

The Mustang is 580HP on 110 race gas.... and weighs in at 2975 pounds with me in it (IIRC). Runs a Jerico 4 speed. Full floater rear end on leaf springs and bearings (mono composite leaf custom for this car) and a Maier track bar set up. Power rack and pinion steering - Chris Alston stuff - custom upper control arms and big ass Howe ball joints with custom built spindles using big race bearings. Triple adjustable JRi Shocks that are custom valved for this car. 18" Formula 43 wheels with Hoosier A7's. The custom stuff and settings are all thanks to RON SUTTON RACE TECHNOLOGIES.

No you don't, the ground is frozen up here!
The mustang sounds like it has been well thought out and would be a lot of fun. But what do I know?

As it is here!!

The Mustang was a nice track day car -- and with the help of Ron Sutton it's now a much MORE FUN track day car. He thought it out -- I just paid for it and get in the seat and enjoy the magic he created for me.

(to those that don't understand/know me - this is my own personal shop - I don't do anything commercially).

I've skied twice so far --- we had a great start - then it got warm and it's been melting during the day and freezing up at night - makes for hard icy base just under the 2" of groomed corduroy the machines make. That's all gone after two runs and you're down to the ice. We need some fresh snow for sure --- and hell yes we need company!! Will I see you at GNRS??

The would be NE Style Skiing! I only knew Ice Skiing until I went to Colorado the 1st Time!

T.C. -- I grew up on Mt Hood in Oregon... and then moved to New York City.. Skied some of the big time east coast destinations...Vermont and New Hampshire and Hunter Mountain etc. and all I could think of was "this is what they call a mountain?" and "ice skating at it's finest". LOL

On Mt Hood - fresh snow was called Cascade Concrete (so wet and heavy)... Sun Valley is normally very dry light snow and SUN SHINE and blue sky skiing. It's early so we'll just go with it. It will return to normal (I hope).

I grew up skiing in Colorado, back in 1994 I won a trip to Lake Placid in upstate NY. We got there late one night and overnight 8" of fresh snow fell...I was stoked to go skiing the next day. We get up on the mountain...and I notice right away that they've groomed the WHOLE FREAKING MOUNTAIN!!! There wasn't a speck of powder to be found anywhere. :headscratch:

By noon, every slope had turned into a sheet of ice and did I mention it was about 4 degrees that day.

Now, I'm used to skiing til the last run of the day...but that was on good snow and with a lift ticket I paid for. We bailed about 1 pm that day...way too dangerous skiing conditions, way too cold and too many good free adult beverages in the lounge.
