700 hp na pump gas LS7
Been on the dyno since last Wed.
We got to 690 hp today on BP pump premium fuel, idles smooth at 920 rpm. Stock plastic intake, stock DBW throttle body, Tuned GM Corvette ecu, Custom Cam, head work, Schwartz MAF. Maybe we'll hit it tomorrow, 2 more LS7's with different parts to test next. Videos soon. |
Very nice numbers, who would have imagined that from a NA LS7 one year ago.
Is the intake and tb ported? A dyno graph would be nice to check out the torque. |
Thank you Jeff for real intresting numbers. Can you share the torque numbers as well ? I would like to know how are they compared to stock at lower rpms
|
wow, what does this beast cost?? and what exhaust did you run on the dyno?? how much will a free flowing dual subtract from that number?? and what octane rating is minimum fopr that engine
we have 95 on pump here.. would that enable you guys to free up some additional power?? |
Still on the dyno today with a couple other combos.
That was with 93 octane BP, around here everything has 10% ethanol in it. Stock plastic intake on this one. Our headwork, our custom MAF, our tune in the GM ECU, our specs on the cam. It's easy to make big numbers with these engines, by throwing more cam at it, but the key is a streetable package, which we have. It has 450 ft lbs at 3000, 500 lbs at 3800, 574.3 at 5500, 517lbs at 7000 676 hp still at 7400. Idles smooth at 920. Peak hp was 7000 rpm peak tq at 5500, but the curve is flat as a pancake. Thanks |
That's awesome Jeff.
Now, what can you do with an LS3? I'll send you mine. |
wow
:hail: jeff
thats some nice #s . whats that setup going into or are you just testing your combo on the motor ? radrambler |
Is the shortblock OEM?
|
Stock bottom end guys! Aftermarket rod bolts.
He has some customers overseas that are interested in BIG #'s:hail: :unibrow: |
All our packages we upgrade the rod bolts, this one had Forged Mahle pistons, and re balanced. This was with our Schwartz Ultima headers, which are fairly short tubes, 3" exhaust on the dyno. These had head mods as well.
Late today we made 730.7 hp with a similar combo, different head work, a modified alum GMPP intake, the Schwartz Power Spacer and the drive by wire TB. We were able to maintian the flat curve despite shorter runners. 3 of these engines tested are going into Ultima GTR's in Europe, one is going into a FFR GTM and another we are installing in a 64 Malibu SS. Still testing tomorrow, so probably wont post vids til monday. Thanks |
Impressive Jeff!! Didn't realize those motors could see 7k rpm...very cool!!!

Thank you Jeff !!!!!! I have mixed motion what direction to go.. But mostly i would appreciate super reliable 600+ tru street engine with lots of torque. This could be the one!!!!!! |
Sounds like the intake you got Works Well . I know it works well on mine

very impressive, good to see guys making big power N/A on these LSx motors!

solid roller cams I am guessing?

I have run solid rollers on the street, but I don't like to sell em to a customer. We ran this engine to 7800 with the hydraulic roller, upgraded springs of course. Thanks |
I'm looking forward to a price list on your different engine combinations.
What cr are you running? Thanks for the update. Ty |
Great numbers Jeff, we need to talk. I just made 604 rwh on my blk ZO6 with heads/cam..

Nice job BTW, that is a good combo to make that much HP/cube with a hyd roller.... |
Awesome nrs, What Dyno did you use!!
|
Superflow 902.
I've tested numerous different combinations of intakes, intake mods, camshaft profiles, etc. More that 100 pulls on the dyno. Spent thousands of dollars testing. Compression will run all day on pump gas. Video and charts coming as soon as I get a chance to load it into my computer. Thanks |

Low end torque was increased over stock. At 3000 stock is about 440 ft lbs. this was 453# at 3k. Thanks |

Sorry, I was a bit over anxious to post this, Don Bailey was instrumental in achieving these numbers. That's him in the picture with me. The best EFI tuner in the World! I'm glad we've been working together.
