Congrats. The new frame design looks awsome. Is there a way to run DSE rack on your original frame design? Thanks Bill

Scott - Where ever you take it, do what it takes to keep the passion and enjoyment in it, don't let it take you to a place you don't enjoy.
Long-range vision and planning.

Don't work yourself into a trap! Find some time to strategize or a delegate it to a trusted source. This stuff can snowball until you start constantly waking up in the middle of the night wondering what the heck happened to my happy place. Control it while you can!

You've got a great product that's marketed and produced in hands-on fashion that many of us gearhead's really appreciate, respect, and want to support. I wish you the best of success and peace of mind at night.

Wow!!! How could possibly know that I wake up in the middle of the night.Once I wake up I start thinking about this car stuff and find it hard too fall back asleep.I would love to take a step back for a while. And recharge the batteries.I have been finding a little get away in the shooting hobby. But now that might even get limited.Thank's so much for the kind word's and great advice. This is why I love too hang out here so much.:thankyou: :thankyou:

frojoe 01-22-2013 02:00 PM

Waking up thinking about fabrication tactics, geometry, stance, and styling cues on a project is good. Waking up in a sweat thinking about insurance, payroll, lines of credit, legal issues, accounts payable, facilities and equipment overhead, human resources liabilities, etc. isn't quite as enjoyable. There are people that actually enjoy dealing with those "un-pleasantries" and they will allow you focus your energy on what you enjoy and do best.

Vince@Meanstreets 01-22-2013 11:23 PM

looks good scott...good to see the dimple dies are getting used.

coolwelder62 01-27-2013 02:50 PM

Kevin spend some time this week end and worked our upper A-arm mount's.I think this is how they will end looking on the final product

srh3trinity 01-27-2013 03:14 PM

The new design looks great. I am looking forward to my version 1 setup that will be coming in early February. I will second the comment that Scott is easy to work with. Maybe this one will be perfected in time for me to finish this Firebird and find another one down the road.

Sieg 01-27-2013 03:52 PM

Nice clean look Scott!

Scott,

I see that this is going to be a new design, but will it still be based off of the c6 components?

The new design will be the same C-6 geometry as before. We are trying to build a more Professional looking built sub frame.Something that proform's and look's as good as the top sub frame on the Market. It will be priced competively for the amount of Mfg. time we have invested in it.

coolwelder62 01-27-2013 08:09 PM

Kevin also did alittle extra work on his sway bar tube

Rod P 01-27-2013 10:42 PM
