55chevyman 07-03-2007 04:41 PM

it is a crane roller cam and the compression is 10 1/2 to 1

Cam specs?

ss dave 07-24-2007 04:44 PM

Guesstimate, since my 383 was similar. 332 HP 365TQ on chasis dyno. but need more specs to be more accurate

55chevyman 04-07-2008 03:43 PM

cam specs: 226/226 with .470 lift
just curious, how loud do you think that cam will be?

Alex ,

Check out edelbrocks web site they sell crate engines with very similar spec to your engine and you can compare. My guess is 375hp to 400hp at the flywheel. Edelbrock has a 363 hp crate that has a slightly smaller hyd roller cam and 1 point less compression than yours. The cam you selected is pretty mild, should give good vacuum and street manners, will also have a little rumpity rump.

i will guess 412 hp with 379 tq at the flywheel.
