Riisagerīs 67 Fastback
Here I will share some pictures, with all of you in here, of my 67 Fastback project.
The plan with this car, is to make the ultimative Pro-Touring Fastback and still have it on licensplates here in Denmark. We are not allowes to do to many changes from original in this country :( I bought the car back in 2004. It´s from CA and still has the black plates. It is an original GTA with machthing numbers, so you could imagine how all the original Mustang freaks are talking about how big a shame this is. But it has a good rustfree body, so it will be a perfect Pro-Touring victim. My goal in 2007 is. Get the car sandblasted. Mount the Air Ride system Make the modifications on the body. Im planning to change some of the scoops and erase some of the emblems. I am not sure yet that I will removed the doorhandles I will try to upload some pictures every time I have been in the garage. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u182/Riisager/5.jpg Before 2004 http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...isager/4-1.jpg The disassembled is started http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...c00453_172.jpg The paint comes off. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...c00457_163.jpg Luckily not alot of rust Please give me some feedback! |

have you drilled the shock towers to relocate the front upper controll arms? it is the cheapest and biggest handling upgrade you can do to a mustang.. (it is also known as a "shelby lowering" and involves moving the mounting holes down one inch, it changes the chambercurve and cures th understeering issue the mustang has.. and as it only involves drilling 4 half inch holes, it is virtually free!)

Maybe you should take a small trip to North Jytland when the car has been sandblasted. |
there should not be any problems with the shocks what so ever.. i did it on my 65 and everything fit prefectly... ill find the template hiding in my shop.. or post the specs here.. and your invitation is ofcourse accepted  the malibu should be back from poland in a week or three .. would be a nice drive to break it in a little..

the upper control arm drop aka shelby drop is nice you need a special ball joint to make up for it.also a monte carlo bar and export brace work great and are cheap to buy.
