Tie Rod Adapter ?
1 Attachment(s)
Gents,
Did a quick search and didn't see anything specific to this question. Sorry if I missed it. I'm looking to replace the stock C5 rear tie rod end and go with heim joints like Alan's G-Force 'cuda. I haven't found a source for the tie rod adapter beyond Baer and Speedway. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/3333...ter-Studs.html Any others that you know of ? Thanks very much ! Jim |
i am sure they are custom machined as alan has machine shop
alot of circle track vendors will have them |
Just wanted to finalize this thread.
Zip Products has a kit that replaces the C5 Rear Suspension tie rod(s) http://www.zip-products.com/Zip/prod...8B1B97BF7A124B |
I just did this on my C4. I got QA1 rod ends and AFCO swedged tubes. I looked into the tie rod adapter but decided to just drill out the taper and use a 3/4 bolt. Anyway here is a source I found http://www.daymotorsports.com/product/1948/c/S17/
Also try [email protected] he told me he had one that would work. Don't bother with Zip, my total cost was $100 |
Thanks for the idea and help !! Much appreciated.
