Floor jack?

Looking for a good floor jack around 3 ton but low for these lowered cars. Any favorites come to mind?

Thanks Rich

Maybe a group purchase?

In all seriousness I have two of these at home and they work great. My ground clearance is just a bit over 4" and these clear with no problems.

Hope this helps!!

Thats more my speed, I think I will take a ride over to sears and see what they have. Looking to spend under 250.00 but want something that will last a bit and hopefully not leak down.

Thanks again guys- Rich

we used to use one of those jacks but it is in the corner of the shop covered in dust now as no one likes it, this is mainly due to the fact that it has a solid roller at the front it will not roll if there is the slightest hint of grit or debris on the floor. As the car gets lifted the jack doesnt roll under so it trys to pull the jack from under the car, we had it happen with a trainee and a freshly painted all steel 34 coupe, the jack slipped and wedged between the rad and crossmember!! needless to say the boss was none too happy about it, but they do work well if the surface is clean and smooth.

+1 for the Craftsman jack... it operates well and it's low profile enough I don't have to lift on the front bumper to get it under the frame.

I have two of the $99 aluminum units from Costco.. they work fine for me.

Best Of Show had one but after three years one of the wheels broke. But that's a shop putting it through heavy use for THREE years.

Should last me a lot longer..
