Ok here is the setup... stock 2002 LS1

i dont want to open the engine yet... so please no crank, heads, piston and rod suggestions... i am windering what boost i can safely run on an stock LS1 on 98 octane (ninety-eight) i have a large intercooler

and what power should i expect (buy injectors to feed)
and lastly... will this fit under a g-body hood???

10-12 psi is the most I've seen last assuming no detonation. The octane certainly helps as well as a good efficient intercooler and a proper tune.

a stock LS1 makes what 325 Hp, so at 12 pounds that comes out at about 590 Hp with no cats ans A/C correct???

I've seen the stock GTO's at 350 hp come in at 525-550 rwhp with a good twin turbo kit, stock engine.

just talked to the DOT inspection guys and there is NO way i can swap in a different engine and modify it... so i guell ill sell the setup (any takers??) and do a head, cam and claim itīs stock...

stick the turbo setup in the for sale section, it'll go fast.
