stock ls intake
 

looking for a stock intake, fuel rails and throttle body for LS motor . i have a 5.3l i need to install in a rockcrawler but i need more hood clearance .
i plan to use the injectors sensors and wiring on the 5.3 . will it work ?

ls1tech.com would be the best place for your wiring question. If you are looking for a stock intake, I would go with a ls6 intake. The ls6 flow a little better than the stock ls1 intake.

It might be worth cutting a whole in the hood, for the added low end torque a stock 5.3 manifold would provide.

I'm not sure about the 5.3 but the injectors may not fit the LS1 intake.

I did a 6.0L and the truck injectors would not physically fit the LS1 intake/fuel rails. You can get "take out" injectors off LS1's all day long on Ebay or the LS1 forums.

I've got an LS1 intake and tb, you can have it if you want it.

That right there speaks to how good the LS1 intake is...:lol:
